This is a true story about what happened to us one night.

You see our daddy let us outside to play hide and go seek.

Our daddy went back into the house while we played.

All of a sudden we saw this funny green light in the sky.

We weren't afraid or anything, so we just looked at it for a while.

The funny green light started to get bigger and bigger until we saw what it was.

 It was a SPACE SHIP of some kind.

We saw space ships on TV before that's how we knew what it was.

We were all together when this space ship was just above us.

Then from the space ship there was a yellow light that beamed us up to the space ship.

We started to get a little scared.

We were met by two little space ship dogs who told us not to be afraid,

because they were our friends.

They told us that they were from a planet called PLUTO.

Everyone on their planet was a dog.

They asked us questions about what it was like to be a dog on earth.

We told them that on earth, dogs were a man's best friend,

and how we get to go for car rides and walks all the time,

and how our daddy took real good care of us.

So, they took us for a space ship ride to see all the dogs on earth.

We saw lots of dogs playing, and having a good time.

Our new friends were very happy to see that dogs were loved and treated real good.

The space ship dogs asked us what our names were, and we told them Pooie, Dulley , Jerry Lee,

Spencer, Sheba & Murphy. "What are your names?" we asked them.

They said that they don't have names. "Would you like  us to give you some names?" we asked.

"YES" they said. So, we named the little boy space ship dog

"ROVER" and the little girl space ship dog we named "PRINCESS".

They were very happy with their new names. Rover & Princess said

that when they get back to their planet they were going to give all the dogs names.

We asked Rover & Princess what was life was like on Pluto.

They said "You want to go for a space ship ride to our planet and see for yourselves?".

"OK, lets go" we said. Well, guess what?

All the dogs there had their own house and swimming pool.

There were trees that had dog bones hanging on them for the dogs to eat.

 "WOW" we said, " dogs on Pluto have a nice place to live".

Rover & Princess wanted to know if it would be all right if sometime

in the future could some of their dogs come back and live on earth for a while.

We told them that would be cool.

So, if you see a dog that doesn't have a family to live with,

it might be from the planet Pluto, and you should take the dog in to live with you for a while.

It was now time for Rover & Princess to return to their planet,

 so we said good-bye to our new friends and they beamed us down to our back yard.

It seemed like we were gone for a very long time.

Just them daddy came back outside to check up on us.

"So, what have you guys been up to?" daddy asked us.

We told him all the things that happened while he was inside the house.

"I was gone for only 2 minutes" daddy said. We don't think he believed us, but we know.
